MK Naftali Bennett

Head of Yamina Party, former Israeli Minister of Defense (2019-2020)
Naftali Bennett was born in Haifa in 1972. He served in the IDF as a company commander in elite units and continues to serve in the reserves today, holding the rank of Major. After his IDF service, Bennett studied law at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Mike Makovsky

Michael Makovsky, PhD

Michael Makovsky, PhD is President and CEO at JINSA and a former Pentagon official in the George W. Bush administration. Makovsky is also the author of Churchill’s Promised Land (Yale University Press), a diplomatic-intellectual history of Winston Churchill’s complex relationship with Zionism. He has a Ph.D. in diplomatic history from Harvard University.
