American Jewish Organizations Praise Greece on Gaza Flotilla

Washington, DC.- Jewish Organizations across the United States along with prominent Jewish American members of Congress launched a massive “thank you letter campaign” towards the Embassy of Greece and organizations of the Greek Lobby, expressing support for Greece’s actions last week on the Gaza Flotilla. Among those organizations were, the AIPAC, the American Jewish Committee, Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs, JCRC of Greater Washington and the “Orthodox Union”, the world’s largest Orthodox Jewish umbrella group.

Messages were also sent by House Foreign Affairs Committee Ranking member Howard Berman, Congresswoman Shelley Berkley and Senators Kirk, Kyl and Lieberman.
