More than 100 Latino and Jewish community and business leaders were in attendance on June 21 in Houston for the inaugural conference and planning committee meeting of JINSA’s Latino-Jewish Alliance for a Secure America. Speakers at the conference included San Antonio Mayor Julian Castro, former California Lt. Gov. Abel Maldonado*, Israeli Consul General Meir Shlomo, former Texas State Senator Hector Uribe*, Former Texas State Representative Roman Martinez*, President of JumBurrito Inc. Jose Cuevas, Jr.*, Alliance Co-Founder Jacob M. Monty*, and JINSA Executive Director Tom Neumann.
