President Donald Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, has once again stepped into the geopolitical arena, landing in Egypt alongside White House Special Envoy Steve Witkoff on Wednesday to secure a ceasefire deal in Gaza.

The presence of Kushner — who has largely stayed out of Trump’s White House during the president’s second term and holds no official role in the administration after previously serving as a senior advisor to Trump — signifies that the U.S. is “serious” about securing a deal between Hamas and Israel, bringing an end to the two-year war and returning all 48 hostages.

“It’s absolutely imperative for Israel’s long-term security and, frankly, for Netanyahu’s political future to keep the U.S. and Trump on side,” John Hannah, security expert and Randi & Charles Wax senior fellow at the Jewish Institute for National Security of America, told Fox News Digital. “A flat-out rejection and confrontation with the United States would have been disastrous for Netanyahu as well as for Israel.”

Foreign Ministry Undersecretary meets JINSA delegation

Manama, September 30 (BNA) Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs Dr. Sheikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa met with a delegation from the Jewish Institute for National Security. from America Favorite, Currently on a visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

During the meeting, Dr. Sheikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa stressed the importance of the close and distinguished alliance between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the friendly United States of America.

He pointed out the importance of enhancing mutual understanding to face existing challenges and open new horizons for peace and prosperity in the Middle East.

During the meeting, they discussed means of cooperation in the field of security and strategic studies, in addition to reviewing regional and international developments of common interest.

The Benjamin Gettler Annual International Policy Trip is enabled by a grant from the Gettler Family Foundation in Cincinnati, Ohio to bring a high-level delegation of retired senior military officers and civilian national security experts to a country that is important to U.S. national security and/or the U.S.-Israel relationship. Upon completion of each trip, the group will share its findings and recommendations with policymakers and opinion leaders in Washington, D.C. and across the country. Benjamin Gettler previously served as Chairman of JINSA, and he was one of the organization’s most active and influential leaders for many years.
