				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img src="/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/Bednarek Mick LTG(R) 15July16_0.jpg" alt="" />Lieutenant General Mick Bednarek retired in 2015 after nearly 40 years of military service. He most recently served 26 months as the Senior Defense Official in Iraq and Chief of the Office of Security Cooperation in Baghdad. In this capacity he coordinated Security Cooperation and Security Assistance activities to strengthen the strategic partnership and promote a unified, democratic, stable, self-reliant, and regionally integrated Iraq.</p>
<p>His military education includes Infantry Officer Basic and Advanced Courses, the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, the U.S. Army War College, and multiple senior level executive development courses in strategic planning, personnel management, and organizational design.</p>
<p>General Bednarek has served in a wide variety of senior command and staff positions in the United States, Middle East, Europe, and the Pacific. He has commanded at every echelon, from company to Army level, culminating in command of First United States Army, responsible for the training and readiness of our Nations Guard and Reserve Forces for worldwide deployment.</p>
<p>The past 26 months in Iraq saw the fragile stability of institutional security, a democratic national election, the invasion of ISIL and collapse of the Iraqi Security Forces, the transition of government, and the initiation of the Combined Joint Task Force in support of the global coalition for the ongoing warfight.</p>
<p>General Bednarek is currently engaged in consulting for multiple organizations ranging from foreign policy think tanks to defense contracting. He continues to provide advice and senior mentorship / counsel for a wide range of Joint Force readiness activities.</p>
<p>Lieutenant General Bednarek&#8217;s awards and decorations include two Defense Superior Service Medals, six awards of the Legion of Merit, the Department of State Meritorious Honor Award, the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, six awards of the Meritorious Service Medal, and multiple other individual and unit level awards.</p>
<p>He is married to the former Holly Meyer, and they have three daughters, one son, and one daughter-in-law. They currently reside in Arlington Virginia.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p class="font_8">LtGen Richard F. Natonski, USMC (ret.) is the former Commander of U.S. Marine Corps Forces Command, which he held from August 2008 until his retirement on September 8, 2010, after more than 37 years of service.</p>
<p>From 2006-2008, he served as the Deputy Commandant for Plans, Policies and Operations (PP&amp;O). This posting followed his command of the 1st Marine Division where he led the ground assault during the second Battle of Fallujah in Iraq in 2004 and managed security operations in the Al Anbar province during the 2005 Iraqi national elections.</p>
<p>He sits on JINSA’s Board of Advisors and serves as a member of its Hybrid Warfare Task Forces and previously on its Gaza Assessment Task Force.</p>

Corn</a> is a Distinguished Fellow at JINSA&#8217;s Gemunder Center and a member of JINSA&#8217;s Gaza Assessment and Hybrid Warfare Task Forces. He is the George R. Killam Jr. Chair of Criminal Law at Texas Tech University School of Law. He previously served as the Gary A. Kuiper Distinguished Professor of National Security Law at South Texas College of Law Houston. Prior to joining the South Texas faculty in 2005, Professor Corn served in the U.S. Army for 21 years as an officer, retiring in the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in 2004, and a final year as civilian legal expert on law of war matters. Professor Corn’s teaching and scholarship focuses on the law of armed conflict, national security law, criminal law, and criminal procedure. His Army career included service as the Army’s senior law of war expert advisor, tactical intelligence officer in Panama; supervisory defense counsel for the Western United States; Chief of International Law for US Army Europe; Professor of International and National Security Law at the US Army Judge Advocate General’s School; and Chief Prosecutor for the 101<sup>st</sup> Airborne Division. He earned is B.A. from Hartwick College in Oneonta, NY, his JD with highest honors from George Washington University, his LLM as the distinguished graduate from the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s School. He is also a distinguished military graduate of U.S. Army Officer Candidate School, and a graduate of U.S. Army Command and General Staff Course. Professor Corn has testified as an expert witness at the Military Commission in Guantanamo, the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia, and in federal court. 				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Adm. Michael Rogers is a native of Chicago and attended Auburn University, graduating in 1981 and receiving his commission via the Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps. Rogers is a distinguished graduate of the National War College and a graduate of highest distinction from the Naval War College. He is also a Massachusetts Institute of Technology Seminar XXI fellow; Harvard Senior Executive in National Security alum; and holds a Master of Science in National Security Strategy.</p>
<p>Since becoming a flag officer in 2007, Rogers has also served as the director for Intelligence for both the Joint Chiefs of Staff and U.S. Pacific Command, and most recently as commander, U.S. Fleet Cyber Command/U.S. 10th Fleet. Originally a surface warfare officer (SWO), he was selected for re-designation to cryptology (now Information Warfare) in 1986.</p>
<p>Duties afloat have included service at the unit level as a SWO aboard USS Caron (DD 970); at the strike group level as the senior cryptologist on the staff of commander, Carrier Group 2/John F. Kennedy Carrier Strike Group; and at the numbered fleet level on the staff of Commander, U.S. 6th Fleet embarked in USS Lasalle (AGF 3) as the fleet information operations (IO) officer and fleet cryptologist. He has also led cryptologic direct support missions aboard U.S. submarines and surface units in the Arabian Gulf and Mediterranean.</p>
<p>Ashore, Rogers commanded Naval Security Group Activity Winter Harbor, Maine (1998-2000); and, has served at Naval Security Group Department; NAVCOMSTA Rota, Spain; Naval Military Personnel Command; Commander in Chief, U.S. Atlantic Fleet; the Bureau of Personnel as the cryptologic junior officer detailer; and, Commander, Naval Security Group Command as aide and executive assistant (EA) to the commander.</p>
<p>Rogers’ joint service both afloat and ashore has been extensive and, prior to becoming a flag officer, he served at U.S. Atlantic Command, CJTF 120 Operation Support Democracy (Haiti), Joint Force Maritime Component Commander, Europe, and the Joint Staff. His Joint Staff duties (2003-2007) included leadership of the J3 Computer Network Attack/Defense and IO Operations shops, EA to the J3, EA to two directors of the Joint Staff, special assistant to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, director of the Chairman’s Action Group, and a leader of the JCS Joint Strategic Working Group.</p>
<p>He served his last assignment as commander, U.S. Cyber Command and director, National Security Agency/Chief, Central Security Service in March 2014.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Upon graduation from the United States Naval Academy in 1981, Lieutenant General Beydler was commissioned into the United States Marine Corps and trained as a Naval Aviator.</p>
<p>He is a graduate of Navy Fighter Weapons School, the Marine Aviation and Weapons Tactics Squadron One, Weapons and Tactics Instructor course, and the Strike Leader Attack Training Syllabus.  He has commanded at the Marine Fighter Attack Squadron, Marine Aircraft Group, Marine Aircraft Wing, Marine Expeditionary Force, Marine Corps Forces Command and Joint Force Command levels.</p>
<p>Later in his career, Lieutenant General Beydler commanded the 1st Marine Aircraft Wing in Okinawa, Japan from July 2010 to June 2012. From July 2014 through October 2015, Lieutenant General Beydler commanded II Marine Expeditionary Force and United States Marine Corps Forces Africa in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. In October 2015, Lieutenant General Beydler took command of United States Marine Corps Forces, Central Command at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa.  Lieutenant General Beydler was placed on the Retired List on 1 September, 2018 at the completion of over 37 years active duty.</p>
<p>Lieutenant General Beydler has accumulated approximately 4000 flight hours in tactical jet aircraft, beginning with the F-4S Phantom, and finishing with over 3000 hours in the F/A-18.</p>
<p>His personal decorations include the Distinguished Service Medal, the Defense Superior Service Medal with two Bronze Oak Leaf Clusters, the Legion of Merit, Meritorious Service Medal with three Gold Stars, the Air Medal-Strike Flight, the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal with one Gold Star.</p>
<p>Lieutenant General Beydler is married to the former Kimberly Stevens, the daughter of a career Navy Officer.  They have two children, both Marines, Captain Shannon Hillery, a Judge Advocate, and Captain Robert Beydler, a recently winged Naval Aviator, currently training in the F/A-18.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>LTG Palumbo&#8217;s involvement in JINSA includes his participation in our 2021 General and Admirals Program to Israel, his membership in our Gaza Assessment Policy Project and his role as Senior Mentor on our 2022 U.S. Military Leaders Program trip to Israel.</p>
<p>LTG Palumbo served 34 years in the U.S. Army leading both conventional and special operations forces during peacetime and in combat. As a general officer he served as assistant commander of the Joint Special Operations Command, the deputy commander of U.S. Army Special Operations Command, and commander of U.S. Army Alaska. In these roles, he directed complex organizations ranging in size from small tactical units to a 24,000-person military command, and while serving in the Pentagon influenced the Military Intelligence Program budget (in excess of $20B annually).</p>
<p>LTG Palumbo has a BS in General Engineering from West Point, an MS in Administration from Central Michigan University, and an MS in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College. He also graduated from the British Higher Command and Staff Course in England. LTG Palumbo is a master aviator and military parachutist, and is a recipient of the 2015 Ellis Island Medal of Honor.</p>
<p>LTG Palumbo currently serves as director or advisor on the boards of several aerospace, defense, and software companies. His philanthropic endeavors focus on reducing veteran unemployment and post-traumatic stress disorders among our active military and veteran populations.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Lieutenant General Stephen R. Lanza retired from the U.S. Army as the Commanding General of I Corps, a globally responsive and regionally aligned force that supports the Pacific region, and Senior Mission Commander for Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM), Washington. During his most recent command, LTG Lanza spearheaded historic projects that ensured a Corps of more than 53,000 Soldiers remained globally responsive and regionally aligned. He focused the headquarters on supporting counterinsurgency and counterterrorism operations in Iraq and Afghanistan while simultaneously serving as a Combined Joint Task Force ready to conduct expeditionary operations in the Pacific Command Area of Responsibility. Under his leadership, I Corps deployed the headquarters to Australia, Japan, and Korea and incorporated American forces in Hawaii, Alaska, and Japan to implement the Department of Defense’s initiative to rebalance forces to the Pacific while concurrently ensuring the Corps was ready to respond to Forces Command global requirements. His command assignments include the 7th Infantry Division at JBLM; 5th Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, Texas; Operation Iraqi Freedom, Iraq; and the 1st Battalion, 5th Field Artillery, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Riley, Kansas. His operational deployment experience includes Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm, Saudi Arabia; Operation Joint Guard, Bosnia-Herzegovina; Operation Iraqi Freedom, Iraq; and Operation New Dawn, Iraq. Lanza was commissioned into the field artillery in 1980 after graduating from the United States Military Academy at West Point. He also holds master’s degrees from Central Michigan University and the National War College and has served as a National Security Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>After graduating from Allegheny College he was commissioned in 1980, received his wings in 1982, and was selected to fly the AV-8A Harrier. He served in VMA-231 deployed aboard the USS Inchon and served as an instructor in VMAT-203, as Weapons and Tactics Instructor and Operations Officer in VMA-223, as a Royal Air Force (RAF) exchange pilot with 3(F) squadron in Germany, and as a MAWTS-1 instructor (the Marine Corps  Aviations Weapons and Tactics Instructor Schoolhouse). From 1998 to 2000, he commanded VMA-223 – a AV-8B II+ squadron. He served as Commanding Officer of MAWTS-1 from 2004 to 2006. From 2006 to 2008, he served as the Deputy Commander — Network Warfare at Fort Meade, Maryland. He commanded the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing from 2010 to 2012. From 2012 to 2014, he served as the Deputy Commander, United States Cyber Command.  His last active duty billet was to serve as the Deputy Commandant for Aviation, Headquarters Marine Corps from 2014 to 2017.  He retired in 2017 from the Marine Corps after 37 years active duty service.</p>
<p>His staff billets include speechwriter and strategic analyst for General Krulak the 31st Commandant, the Junior Military Assistant to the Deputy Secretary of Defense, Assistant Air Operations Officer of the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing in OIF, and served as the Deputy Assistant Commandant for Aviation from 2008 to 2010.</p>
<p>He built and led the first Marine Corps Red Team in Al Anbar province in Iraq in 2004</p>
<p>He built and led the first ever Cyber Joint Interagency Task Force in 2006 at Fort Meade.</p>
<p>In the course of his military career he has flown over 4,300 mishap free hours in primarily the AV-8, but also in the F-5, FA-18, and every type model series tilt-rotor, rotary winged and air-refueler in the USMC inventory plus over 900 hours in general and experimental aviation aircraft.</p>
<p>He graduated with honors from The Basic School and was a Distinguished Graduate of the Marine Corps Command and Staff College. He is a graduate of the Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Instructor Course (WTI), The School of Advanced Warfighting (SAW), and Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). He holds a Bachelor of Science from Allegheny College, a Master of Science from Marine Corps University and a Master of International Public Policy from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.</p>
<p>He currently serves on the Rolls Royce North America GSC Board of Directors, on the advisory board of several defense start-ups (including adversary services and advanced design tilt-rotor).  He is a Trustee of Allegheny College, an advisory board member for the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation, the Old Crows Electronic Warfare Association, and is a member of the Bonner County Hospital Board.</p>
<p>He is a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association, Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, and Marine Corps Aviation Association</p>
<p>LtGen Davis has been happily married to Carol (a 1<sup>st</sup> grade teacher) since 1981.  They have two sons that are Marine officers and aviators (F-35 and FA-18), two daughter-in-law, and two grand-daughters.  His hobbies include family, serving, reading, flying, fishing and skiing.</p>

<p>LTG Gibson has performed in numerous intelligence and cyberspace operations roles, culminating her military service as Deputy Director of National Intelligence for National Security Partnerships. In previous assignments, she served as Director of Intelligence for United States Central Command; Director of Intelligence for Combined Joint Task Force &#8211; Operation Inherent Resolve, the multinational coalition to defeat ISIS; and Deputy Commanding General for U.S. Army Cyber Command. A seasoned combat veteran, Ms. Gibson has led intelligence-operations fusion centers in Iraq, Afghanistan, Korea, East Africa, and in the United States.</p>
<p>Ms. Gibson is a native of Bozeman, Montana. She earned a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University, a M.S. in National Security Strategy from the National War College, and a M.S. in Strategic Intelligence from the National Intelligence University.</p>
