In 2001, post 9/11, JINSA’s Homeland Security Program was created for law enforcement personnel with a focus on the educational exchange of counterterrorism practices and strategies. The program is comprised of two components. The conference series allows JINSA to educate a large number of security personnel in the United States about best counterterrorism tactics. The program brings a select group of Chiefs and Sheriffs to Israel for an intensive 10-day exchange focusing on counterterrorism and terrorism response with the cooperation of the Israel National Police and other security agencies.
