General Tucker and Colonel Warren are members of JINSA’s Hybrid Warfare Task Force. In Spring 2018, they conducted an on-the-ground assessment of the operational and legal challenges that Israel will face in its next war in the north. Lieutenant General (ret.) Michael S. Tucker, USA served as Commanding General of the First United States Army from 2013 until 2016. He formerly served as the Commanding General of the 2nd Infantry Division.Tucker also served as Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations of the International Security Assistance Force (Afghanistan) until 2009.
Colonel (ret.) Marc Warren, USA was the senior legal advisor for the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC), and for Coalition Forces during the invasion and occupation of Iraq. After retiring from the U.S. Army, he was the deputy and acting chief counsel for the FAA, and is now co-chair of the Aviation & Aerospace Practice Group at Jenner & Block, LLP.
