U.S. arms sales to Israel down, up to Arab states Jerusalem has been keeping mum during a yearlong ban on weapon sales imposed by the United States, while, at the same time, the Obama administration has approved $10 billion in arms sales to Arab states, according to a report by the Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs, cited by WorldTribune.com on Feb. 10.

According to JINSA, Israeli Prime Minster Benjamin Netan-yahu has kept silent over a virtual arms embargo by its staunchest ally; the Israeli government, also, has not protested against massive U.S. weapons sales to Israel’s Arab neighbors, which have eroded the Jewish state’s “qualitative military edge,” the report noted.
