In response to the letter signed by 54 Congressmen – including Connecticut’s Jim Himes – calling on Israel to respond to the humanitarian needs of the people living in Gaza by lifting its “blockade”, several organizations were quick to point out that Israel continues to provide the people of Gaza with much in the way of aid.
