Maj. Gen. Amidror in San Diego Jewish World
Israel’s former National Security Advisor Major General Yaacov Amidror (ret.) has joined the Gemunder Center for Defense and Strateg as a Senior Advisor. In his new position with JINSA, Maj. Gen. Amidror will provide expert policy guidance and share his extensive knowledge with other Gemunder Center leaders as well as the public.
Israel’s former National Security Advisor Major General Yaacov Amidror (ret.) has joined the Gemunder Center for Defense and Strateg as a Senior Advisor. In his new position with JINSA, Maj. Gen. Amidror will provide expert policy guidance and share his extensive knowledge with other Gemunder Center leaders as well as the public.

As National Security Advisor to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and head of Israel’s National Security Council, Maj. Gen. Amidror was one of the Prime Minister’s leading advisors. He was instrumental in high-level talks between the U.S. and Israel over the Iranian nuclear program and supervised efforts to keep Hezbollah from obtaining Russian missile systems.
