IDF Maj. Gen. (ret.) Yaacov Amidror Briefs JINSA National Leaders and Friends Across the Country

On the week of September 8, JINSA conducted a nationwide speaking tour with IDF Maj. Gen. (ret.) Yaacov Amidror. General Amidror was formerly Prime Minister Netanyahu’s National Security Advisor, and now serves as Senior Advisor to JINSA’s Gemunder Center for Defense and Strategy.

On the week of September 8, JINSA conducted a nationwide speaking tour with IDF Maj. Gen. (ret.) Yaacov Amidror. General Amidror was formerly Prime Minister Netanyahu’s National Security Advisor, and now serves as Senior Advisor to JINSA’s Gemunder Center for Defense and Strategy.

General Amidror discussed Israel’s standing after the recent war in Gaza, Operation Protective Edge, as well as gave his insight into issues such as Iran’s quest for nuclear weapons and the international efforts to stop them, Israel’s current threats including those from Hezbollah, and the inaccurate media portrayal of Israel and the IDF.

The tour included stops in Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., and New York. The briefings and question-and-answer sessions, as well as the discussion between Maj. Gen. Amidror and JINSA CEO Dr. Michael Makovsky, were received enthusiastically by our Leadership and friends.
