Makovsky and Ruhe Sign Letter to Financial Action Task Force Urging Vigilance on Iran

On June 21, United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI) released an open letter signed by high-ranking former government officials and policy experts on the occasion of the Financial Action Task Force’s (FATF) plenary meeting in Busan, Korea, from June 18-24. As FATF members meet to discuss combatting threats to the international financial system, UANI and its supporters remind the organization of Iran’s money laundering, terrorist financing, and the threat that it poses to global markets.
