Ambassador Alexandra Papadopoulou began her career in the Foreign Ministry as an Embassy Attache in 1981. Since then, she has held positions worldwide, including in Amman, Jordan, the United Nations, Uruguay and Paraguay and the Balkans. In February of 2020, she became Ambassador of Greece to the United States. She received her law degree from the University of Athens and a Master’s degree in International Relations and International Law from the University of Pennsylvania.
Michael Makovsky, PhD is JINSA President & CEO. He is a U.S. national security expert, and has worked extensively on U.S. policy towards Iran’s nuclear program, the Middle East, and the intersection of international energy markets and politics with U.S. national security.
