Thank you to the JINSA Report readers who wrote to say that we implied in our previous missive that all the dead from Friday’s ambush in Hebron were civilians, commonly called “settlers” in the media. To be precise, three of the dead were civilians; the others were soldiers protecting them (some of whom might be soldiers from Judea and Samaria, making them “settlers” as well, albeit not religious ones). Clear now?

To be precise, three of the dead were civilians; the others were soldiers protecting them (some of whom might be soldiers from Judea and Samaria, making them “settlers” as well, albeit not religious ones). Clear now? But it is a distinction without a difference because no matter what descriptive tag they are assigned, correct or incorrect, and no matter where they lived in relation to the 1949 armistice line, for their killers, they are all dead Jews and that is what they were celebrating in Gaza.
