Longtime Officer David Justman Tapped to Serve As the New JINSA President

The Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs (JINSA) is proud to announce that longtime Officer David Justman has been named as JINSA’s new President. A resident of Los Angeles, California, Mr. Justman has a history of service to the organization, including most recently as the Co-Chairman of JINSA’s prestigious Board of Advisors. Mr. Justman is a steadfast supporter of both the U.S. military and Israel, issues that are central to JINSA’s mission.

A resident of Los Angeles, California, Mr. Justman has a history of service to the organization, including most recently as the Co-Chairman of JINSA’s prestigious Board of Advisors. Mr. Justman is a steadfast supporter of both the U.S. military and Israel, issues that are central to JINSA’s mission. “David has proven a very able and enthusiastic supporter and leader of JINSA for many years, and I’m looking forward to working with him closely,” said Dr. Michael Makovsky, JINSA’s Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director.

As an active and dedicated JINSA Officer, David Justman has contributed significantly to JINSA’s success on both the national and international levels. Mr. Justman was also instrumental in the formation and continued success of JINSA’s Los Angeles Cabinet, which was formed to explore issues affecting both American and Israeli security. With a leader like David Justman as President, JINSA will look forward to even greater outreach and programming on the West Coast.

According to JINSA Chairman Michael Nachman, “David Justman has contributed greatly to JINSA over many years. His experience with JINSA will enhance and expand our mission going forward and I look forward to our partnership.”

Mr. Justman has worked in the wealth management industry since 1976 and has been a Managing Director with JP Morgan in Los Angeles since 1988. He was named one of the top 1000 financial advisors in the United States by Barron’s magazine in 2010. He is also honorary Commander of the 31st Test and Evaluation Squadron at Edwards Air Force Base and an adjunct professor at UCLA.
