Blake Johnson

Blake Johnson is the Communications Director for the Jewish Institute for National Security of America.

Johnson has more than 17 years of media and communications experience in Washington, D.C., having worked at think tanks, public affairs firms, and television and media production companies.

Prior to joining JINSA, Johnson most recently spent 8 years in the communications department at the Bipartisan Policy Center, specializing in earned media. While at BPC, he built the organization’s relationships with top-tier broadcast outlets, led communications and press strategy for several policy departments, and created partnerships with CNBC, Yahoo! Finance, and SiriusXM. He routinely secured media opportunities for BPC experts, publications, and events with The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Associated Press, Reuters, USA Today, NPR, Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, and Bloomberg.

Johnson holds a B.A. in history from Rutgers University.
