George Violin, MD

Dr. George Violin is a graduate of Columbia University College of Physicians and was an International Fellow of the University at the School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA). He trained in ophthalmology at Harvard University and has founded several private equity companies. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Violin was one of the pioneers in small incision cataract and implant surgery in Massachusetts and has had experience in this area for almost a quarter of a century. He has been the subject of many news articles concerning his expertise in the areas of laser vision correction and cataract surgery. He has been featured, and has appeared as a guest speaker, on numerous local television and radio broadcasts, where he has discussed state of the art technologies in both of these areas.
