Jonathan Kislak

Jon Kislak is a principal of Antares Capital Corporation in Miami, Florida. Antares is a privately held venture capital firm investing equity capital in expansion stage companies and management buyout opportunities. From 1991 to 1999, he operated Kislak Capital Corporation, a successful investor in start-up and early stage companies, and was Chairman of Kislak Financial Corporation, a bank holding company for Kislak National Bank. From 1989 to 1991, he served as Deputy Under Secretary and Acting Under Secretary of the U.S. Department of Agriculture with responsibility for three USDA agencies and the USDA rural development activities. Prior to 1989, he was President of J.I. Kislak Mortgage Corporation.

He sits on the board of several companies, including the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta and Cherry Hill Mortgage Investors. His past civic involvements include President of the South Florida Council of the Boy Scouts, General Campaign Chairman of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, and Chairman of the Board of Camillus House, Inc. Kislak previously served as Chairman of JINSA’s Board of Directors.

Kislak graduated with a degree in Economics, Magna cum Laude, from Harvard College. He is married and has four children.
