LTG Kevin W. Mangum, USA (ret.)

Lieutenant General Kevin W. Mangum served over 35 years in the U.S. Army with his final assignment being the Deputy Commanding General of U.S Army Training and Doctrine Command. He was commissioned from the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York in 1982. After completion of the Officer Rotary Wing Aviator Course in 1983, he served in a variety of special operations, conventional and joint assignments. His commands include the US Army Aviation Center of Excellence; US Army Special Operations Aviation Command; 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment; 1st Battalion, 160th Special Operation Aviation Regiment; 2nd Battalion, 2nd Aviation Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division. Kevin also commanded companies in the 101st Airborne Division and 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment. Additionally, he served as the Deputy Commanding General in both 10th Mountain Division and 1st Armor Division. He served Joint tours at the Joint Electronic Warfare Center and the Joint Special Operations Command. Kevin’s combat deployments include the Persian Gulf, Bosnia, Afghanistan and Iraq. He is currently the Vice President for Army Programs, Rotary and Mission Systems, Lockheed Martin Corporation. He is married to the former Angel Dawn Kahihikolo of Clarksville, Tennessee. They reside in Washington, DC.
