VADM Jeff Trussler, USN (ret.)

VADM Jeff Trussler, USN (ret.) is a JINSA Generals and Admirals Program Participant and the former Deputy Chief of Naval Operations for Information Warfare.

As the DCNO for Information Warfare, VADM (ret.) Trussler served as the principal advisor to the Chief of Naval Operations regarding information, command and control, networks, cybersecurity, intelligence, electronic warfare, battlespace awareness and precision navigation. He previously served as the Director of Future Plans of the United States Navy, and in other senior positions including Commander of the USS Columbus (SSN 762) and the USS Maryland (SSBN 738). In addition, he is the former Commander of the Navy’s Undersea Warfighting Development Center (UWDC) where he was responsible for training, assessment, tactical development and analysis of the U.S. military’s undersea warfare capabilities.
