Israeli strategists admit that despite their best efforts, the Iranian government hasn’t been sufficiently weakened. “The state has been weakened but not enough,” said JINSA Distinguished Fellow Yaakov Amidror, a former national security advisor to Netanyahu. “End of the day, it’s not about weakening the state for the sake of weakening but for Iranians to topple the regime. That didn’t happen yet.”
