Elected Member of the Greek Parliament with New Democracy party, in the elections of 2007, 2009, 2012, January 2015, September 2015 and July 2019 From July 2012 to June 2013, he served as a Deputy Minister of Labour, Social Security and Social Solidarity. Appointed “N.D.” Party Coordinator/Shadow Minister for Defense (2012), Social Affairs (2015- 2016) and Justice (2016-2019). Appointed “N.D.” member of the Special Parliamentary Committees investigating the affair of the Hellenic Navy submarines purchase (2011) and the “Novartis” pharmaceuticals investigation of the involvement of government officials (2018). Appointed “N.D.” member of the Parliamentary Committee for the Revision of the Constitution (2018).

John Hannah

John Hannah is a Senior Fellow at JINSA’s Gemunder Center for Defense and Strategy. Hannah served in senior foreign policy positions for both Democratic and Republican administrations, including as National Security Advisor to U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney.
