JINSA Webinar:

The End of Afghanistan

The total collapse of Afghanistan’s U.S.-backed government and armed forces has been nothing short of stunning as U.S. personnel flee the country and the U.S. Embassy is shuttered. The abrupt abandonment of a longstanding partner, and the ensuing Taliban takeover, recalls painful memories of past U.S. foreign policy catastrophes. It also raises difficult questions about the future, not only for Afghanistan and the broader Middle East, but also for America’s credibility and security guarantees globally.

Please join Amb Eric Edelman, Gen (ret.) Charles Wald and LtGen (ret.) John Toolan to assess the consequences of the Afghanistan withdrawal and how
American policymakers can address the negative fallout for U.S. national security interests.

This webinar will be moderated by JINSA Senior Fellow John Hannah.
