In less than 2 months, the U.S. and Israeli air forces struck more than 15,000 Iranian targets, including the regime’s leadership, missile and nuclear arsenals, and defense-industrial capacity. Then, in early April, a bold and complex U.S. operation with Israeli support resulted in the rescue of an American airman inside Iran, after a U.S. F-15 fighter jet was shot down.
To discuss U.S.-Israeli tactical accomplishments in the war, including the cinematic U.S. airman rescue operation, JINSA hosted a webinar with Lt Gen Thomas Trask, USAF (ret.), former Vice Commander, United States Special Operations Command, and JINSA Distinguished Fellow IDF MG (ret.) Amikam Norkin, former Commander of the Israeli Air Force.
The discussion was moderated by JINSA Fellow for American Strategy Jonathan Ruhe.
