Michael Makovsky, PhD Michael Makovsky, PhD is President and CEO at JINSA and a former Pentagon official in the George W. Bush administration. Makovsky is also the author of Churchill’s Promised Land (Yale University Press), a diplomatic-intellectual history of Winston Churchill’s complex relationship with Zionism. He has a Ph.D. in diplomatic history from Harvard University. |
